Last night, I was drawing a nice picture of a puppy for somebody at school. I was using my dad's computer because mine wasn't-isn't-working. It was about 11'oclock at night.
The phone rings, and it's somebody that played hockey with my dad. Something was up with him where he was playing. I didn't quite understand.
I give the phone to my step-mom and go back downstairs. 5 minutes later, she tells me my dad's in the hospital. I prayed it was a broken leg or something, but we had no idea why he was there.
On the drive to the hospital, which was a quick 30 minutes, we learn that he had heart problems. Then we learn he had a heart attack. Before we get there, my dad died.
Everything is surreal right now, and nothing I do feels right.
I'm just glad I have my family and friends support me. But this is the worst day of my life.
And hopefully always will be.
I'm not gonna be active for a while. I've got a lot of things to figure out and go through. I loved my dad so much, and there was absolutely no warning, and I'm gonna miss the hell out of him.
